Ways to understand gastric pain about food and health
The risk of peptic ulcers increases by increasing fried burns, starting from a small pain in the upper abdomen throughout the day, sudden intense pain and indigestion or after eating - all are known as peptic ulcer pain. What people usually mean by gastric or ulcer, in medical terms, it is called peptic ulcer.
In this regard, The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Prof. Dr. DR. ABM Abdullah said, "Those who do not take regular food or fast for a long time, they can have peptic ulcers. Peptic ulcers occur not only in the stomach, but they can occur in any part of the digestive system. Why is it? This problem occurs mainly due to the formation of excess acid in the stomach. Excess acid comes into contact with the stomach by damaging the membrane of the stomach's mucosa and can cause inflammation. And the bacteria called Helicobacter pylori also destroy the mucosal screen.
The acid comes into contact with the stomach and causes inflammation. In addition, if a large amount of acid and protein digesting enzymes (known as pepsin) are released from someone's digestive system, it can happen. Again, if the structural structure of someone's digestive system is weak by birth, then peptic ulcers can also occur.
What can cause more acid to build up in the stomach? Painkillers can cause more acid to build up. Insomnia, excessive tension, fried foods with more oil, smoking, etc. also produce excess acid.
What you see. Pain on the surface of the stomach, irritation. Pain increases immediately after eating (gastric ulcer). Increased pain on an empty stomach (duodenal ulcer). Getting up. Being indigestion.
To prevent regular intake of food, avoiding fried foods, avoiding anxiety, adequate sleep, smoking should be stopped. As much as possible, you should refrain from taking painkillers i.e. aspirin medicines.
Medical patients with peptic ulcers usually benefit from taking antacids and similar medications. If this disease is caused by germs, treatment is given in combination with various medicines. However, if the patient is not well even after taking long-term medicines, if there is vomiting after playing something, that is, if any part of the digestive tract becomes narrow, then the patient can benefit from the operation.
If you don't get treatment on time. The stomach may become leaky. There may be vomiting of blood. It could be a black closet. There may be anemia. Cancer can also occur (rarely). The path of the digestive tract may become narrow and the patient may vomit repeatedly.
Does eating sourdough cause peptic ulcers? There is no specific evidence of this in medical science.
Does drinking too much water cure peptic ulcers? There is no such thing that drinking too much water will not cure this disease or get better; Rather, it can be the opposite. It is best to drink water in moderation.
What to do if the patient wakes up suddenly or late at night due to abdominal pain? Playing something reduces the pain or antacid syrup works very well. If the problem is more, you have to take it to the hospital. Therefore, those who are suffering from long-term peptic ulcers should go to the doctor, identify the complications related to peptic ulcer in advance and get treatment accordingly.
